Aghora Homam is one of the most powerful and fierce homams dedicated to Lord Shiva as Aghora Murthy. It is performed only when enemy problems, black magic and severe doshas are at their peak and only after astrological consultation (prashna/nimitta). It destroys deep-rooted negativity completely.
If the enemy dosha and miseries are very severe, this powerful homam in the concept of Lord Shiva can be performed. Lord Aghora Murthy is invoked on a lotus and worshipped, and offerings of samidhas are made in the Homa Kundam. This homam is performed in the morning or evening. Since it is a very powerful homam, it should be performed only if it is essential through prashna vidhi or nimitta.
1. For Severe Shatru Badha: When normal pariharas fail and enemy torture is extreme.
2. Protection from Black Magic: Very effective against koodothram, cheivinam, abhichara dosha.
3. Removes Fear & Heavy Negativity: Destroys deep fear, nightmares, mental distress caused by evil forces.
4. Shiva Raksha: Gives strong Shiva kavacham – no evil can approach after this homam.
5. Only When Prescribed: Should NOT be done casually – only if astrologer confirms necessity through prashna.
